getting legal help

I am looking for a good personal injury attorney. Chicago seems to have many of them, and I am wondering who is generally able to obtain the largest average settlement or judgment. (It would be awesome if these kinds of statistics were released!) My case is extremely complicated, and pertains to ‘injury’ caused by day-in and day-out wear & tear on my knees caused by a cement floor and a “no sandals at work” policy. Anyway, if someone could please pass on their recommendations, I will be sure to give a call to whomever you recommmend.

Few law schools are better than the one at the University of Chicago. Medical malpractice attorney Jason Kroot is at the head of the class when it comes to teaching how to litigate and settle complicated cases involving questions of medical malpractice. An industry veteran, he maintains that the most important thing an individual can do to receive proper attention from a wrongdoer is to seek legal representation early. He cautions, “Many people come into my office six months, a year, or even two years after a medical mistake has impaired their health. While we are generally able to help them seek settlements from employers and malpractice insurance companies looking to save on costly litigation, we do a lot better with patients who know from the get-go they are entitled to compensation and will seek out.”

The other day I was reading something in the Miami Herald about the declining bullying in schools in Miami. Optional, standardized martial arts training in schools might be to thank for the trend. Since 2004, over 80 elementary and middle schools have begun to offer after school martial arts instruction in Miami. Mixed martial arts, which blends the best self-defense aspects of many martial arts, is credited with instilling would-be bullies with respect and high self-esteem while giving would-be bullied children the know-how to stand up to anyone who might give them a tough time.

I was wondering whether or not to send my child to an accredited MMA martial arts studio for kids in Miami or not. Kids karate in Florida seems to be experiencing a tremendous surge in popularity, and I’m wondering whether all the hype is real or not. If anyone could share their experience with me, I would greatly appreciate learning about it – specifically what the best karate school in Miami is, and about how much I can expect to pay for it.

Best Video Producers

In the past, the Miami Dade High School basketball team has made its own training videos for sports athletics videos. Last year, however, the team used professional video production services to make a concise video of the strategies and plays their opponents were willing to advertise to the camera. That way, players were able to learn about their competitors simply by watching TV. The team went on to be the best team in the league and owe much of their success to the quality of the video that was produced for them by a great southern Florida video production company in Miami.

I want to make a commercial with the best video production company in Florida, but I want it to be cheap. But video production services in Florida are a dime a dozen as far as businesses go, so I want to know who’s produced what and just how good it looks. Some company with experience producing, taping, and filming commercials, advertisements, short films, training videos, etc. would be an ideal match, as I am looking to make a product demonstration (not an infomercial) video for a product that I will be launching for sale in several malls across the country beginning this May. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Local Real Estate

Last week, I flew to a real estate brokerage to see about a job in Jacksonville, Florida. Real Estate isn’t necessarily my top career choice but a job with the best real estate broker in southern Florida wouldn’t be so bad. I learned that this brokerage is getting some of the highest prices for sellers while also managing to sell more property than other brokers who would short-sell their sellers’ homes. What’s more, Jacksonville is poised to see a big recovery in housing prices following a bit of turmoil, which only means that commissions will be going up, up, up. The company specializes in Jacksonville and the surrounding areas, especially Ponte Vedra and Atlantic beach. That bit of diversity would probably keep things interesting enough for me to stick around.
